BCIC TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Event Detail
EVENT BACKGROUND
Artificial Intelligence is progressing fast and will achieve the levels of complexity of the Human Brain in the next few years and will continue to multiply the capabilities many fold over Human Brain.
This is a huge opportunity in front of us to leverage this exponential growth of Intelligence and use that to the benefit to our Society, Corporations and Governance.
Technologists have the unique responsibility to undertake the challenge of Artificial Intelligence and steer the way it can be used – creating safe transportation, developing medicines and remedies for diseases, better disease diagnosis, better fraud prediction and detection, better marketing, driving smart robots, smart customer service using bots, and so much more.
There are three key pillars of AI – Algorithms, Computing Power and large Data Sets. The proliferation of AI in recent years have been possible due to the proliferation of Data and the availability of adequate Computing Powers at economic levels. At the same time, the development of Algorithms also have seen exponential growth in recent years. The likes of Tensorflow and TPU or Tensor Processing Units are hallmarks of these developments.
The other dimension to the rise of AI is that the need of technologists in this field is growing exponentially – be it to develop Algorithms or Data Scientists or AI Infrastructure Architects – we are reeling under an acute shortage of highly skilled AI experts to help the industry through this Technology wave.
Looking towards the possibilities, Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) is bringing together the best minds from the Industry to talk about various AI Use Cases diving deep in the Technologies and Algorithms in a two day Conference on the 17th and 18th Of January, 2019.
The target audience for this conference would be AI Engineers, Data Scientists, AI and Data Researchers, Senior Digital Leaders, persons interested in a career in AI and Data, other Digital professionals and Enthusiasts.
For sponsoring organisations, this will be a great opportunity to highlight their platforms in front of a technology audience.
