43rd Annual General Meeting of BCIC

The Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) this year completes 42 years of its journey, marking a long association with State of Karnataka. Driven by its Members, BCIC has emerged as a strong and proactive institution working towards the growth, competitiveness and sustainability of Indian industry. 

While India is facing a very challenging situation due to the Coronavirus crisis, Indian industry’s actions will be key to revival as it explores newer opportunities. There is renewed need to converge industry efforts in the spirit of partnership that BCIC has built over the years. 

Against this background, Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) will be holding its 43rd Annual General Meeting at 6.00 pm on August 7, 2020 through Video Conference. The Theme for the current year AGM is:- Namma Karnataka - The Gateway to Future India, with a focus on positioning Karnataka as a preferred investment destination.

We are pleased to inform you that this year Shri Jagadish Shettar, Hon’ble Minister for Large and Medium Scale Industry, Government of Karnataka is the Chief Guest and will deliver the Guest Address; Shri. Vikram Kirloskar, CMD, Kirloskar Systems Ltd, Vice Chairman, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Ltd and Immediate Past President, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is the Guest of Honour and will deliver the Keynote Address at the AGM.

    • Coinciding with the AGM, the Chamber will be releasing Exclusive Reports on the following publications:  

      BCIC – Deloitte Survey Report on how Karnataka can emerge as the most preferred investment destination given the impact of COVID-19 on global economy 
      BCIC Exclusive Report - The Gateway to Karnataka – A New Second Airport for the Bengaluru Region  
      BCIC - Aatmanirbhar Bharat Analysis Report 
        
      The Annual Session, as always, will see participation of Thought leaders, policy-makers, strategists, industry leaders and media.
